MINUTE WOMEN HOME CARE
Industry: Healthcare

Challenge: A home care provider in Lexington, Massachusetts needed an updated brand image and turned to Atomik for help. As the first home care company in Massachusetts, Minute Women had built a reputation as providers of the highest quality home care services to local families in need. The client was looking for a new logo that is unique, as well as able to capture and convey Minute Women’s brand and identity; and connect with a new generation of care givers and decision makers.

Solution: Atomik Design quickly understood what the owner, Ryan, wanted the company’s brand image to communicate. We created a new logo and updated brand image for the local and family-owned company. The hummingbird visual reflects the personalized attention provided by the organization, while the logo creates a non-typical and modern look that clearly conveys who they are.

Results: The hummingbird logo is welcoming and memorable and the organization is very happy with the new brand image from Atomik. We also provided letterhead, envelope design and new business cards.

MINDFULL MARKETING
Industry: Marketing

Challenge: PerkettPR was a 20-year-old marketing and PR firm that was rebranding to convey expanded services. The company was taking on an entirely new name, look and feel, and needed both a logo and a website that were updated and could convey the organization’s expansion.

Solution: Atomik Design created a logo that could stand on its own but also clearly tied into the name of the firm. We also created an entirely new website, letterhead and business cards.

Results: The Mindfull Marketing Founder is extremely happy with the new designs; confident that they clearly convey the organization’s rich history and experience, while also updating the firm’s look and feel. The bright colors tie in with the energy the company wanted people to feel when they visit the site, and newsletter registration forms make it easy for site visitors to stay engaged. We also redirected all of the company’s old links to the new site, ensuring that anyone searching under the firm’s original name could still find the new information and site.

SCHOLAR ATHLETES
Industry: Nonprofit

Challenge: Scholar Athletes supports academic achievement through athletics; partnering with public high schools to help close the opportunity gap for thousands of students in grades 9-12. Their old website was not effectively communicating their brand and mission – and asked Atomik to help create a new website that was modern, visual, impactful and would communicate their message and mission.

Solution: Atomik Design met with the organization to fully understand its mission and brand culture. We very quickly recognized that the brand was energetic and impactful, and needed to appeal to both partners and students.

Results: Atomik created a lively and informative site that very clearly conveys the work that Scholar Athletes does. The visuals and real time statistics throughout the site quickly communicate the organization’s great work and results. The navigation is easy to follow and takes a website visitor through the brand’s story, publicizing the impact that Scholar Athletes has on its members and partner school communities. Newsletter registration forms and donation buttons make it very easy for site visitors to take action and get involved.

HOOKED
Industry: Retail

Challenge: A new Somerville-based fish shop, opening Summer 2018 in Union Square’s Bow Market, needed brand identify, including a logo, business cards, signage, t-shirts, and accompanying materials. They had a great name, but were really starting from scratch with all other brand elements.

Solution: Atomik Design met with the owner to get a feel for his style and the shop’s vibe. We created a modern and fun logo capturing elements of “fish”, “hook” and “sea”(blue): a fish jumping over the name and tying in a subtle fish hook in the “D” of the Shop’s name, “Hooked.” We also included a descriptor line under the logo that simply explained both what the business was (fish shop) and where it was located (Union Square).

Results: The shop’s owner, Jim, was extremely happy with the creative and clear brand ID created by Atomik. “Adam completely understood what we were going for and quickly created a spot-on brand and logo that clearly communicates what we offer and was fun at the same time.”

NEW ENGLAND GOLFGUIDE
Industry: Publishing

Challenge: New England GolfGuide is a popular, annual guide that is the definitive directory for golf courses in New England. The publisher was looking for reliable and professional designer who could continually create a quality publication that golfers have come to rely on.

Solution: Atomik Design provides cover-to-cover design and production for the 600+ page guide on an annual basis, engaging golfers to continue to read the publication to find the best courses in the region. The Guide delivers detailed course information, ratings, featured courses, articles, coupons, and more, providing a valuable resource for golfers. Atomik also provides design of print and marketing materials for the Guide; as well as design of the New England GolfGuide website.

Results: With a distribution of over 100,000, the New England GolfGuide continues to grow in popularity and is the leading resource for golf courses in the New England region.
